The Infinity Room Installation
Infinity is an immersive and light installation imagined by Refik Anadol, in Istanbul, that is part of the research projet on audio/visual installations Temporary Immersive Environment Experiments. The concept consists in the staging of a conscious subject in the center of a room that transforms at his contact and becomes an artificial, engrossing environment that changes his presence’s perception in an illusory and non-physical world. For this, they’ve installed in a room a traditional cinema screen and have set a 3D kinetic projected on an architectonic space of visualisation (based on algorithms).
